The Course

Overview

Introduction: Golf has been played on this site since 1897. Course designer was Alex Russell. Mr Russell was a partner of Dr Alister McKenzie who was a giant in golf course architecture (West course at Royal Melbourne). The course has undergone major improvements in recent years with the introduction of couch fairways which compliment the picturesque setting and out look over Colac and District. This adventure begins and ends in classic style with a new challenge around every corner. Western Victoria’s best kept golfing secret – the Colac Golf Club has something for everyone.
